Who Leads Educo Trips?
Educo trip instructors are highly qualified professionals in the outdoor industry. We screen, do background checks and require great references before conducting our own extensive 10 day staff training at the beginning of each season. Each instructor comes in with advance wilderness medicine training and certificates in addition to First Aid and CPR.
In addition to having solid technical & safety skills, Educo trip leaders are a ton of fun and actively facilitate to create an environment with participants to make the trip their own. It is through this ownership that kids are truly able to develop into leaders and take on new roles.
What will my group be like?
Educo's summer youth programs are made up of great kids from around the country all looking to have a great time, make new friends and take on leadership roles and responsibilities. Groups never contain more than 10 kids and always have at least 2 instructors in the field.
